Party Time....Laura and 80's dancing!

We went out on Friday (the 21st) for Laura's going away party. First, Cassi and Laura came over to our house and then we went to Vault and then to Lola's Room for an 80's dance party. It was a great time. Here are a few pictures from our night out.
Cassi...home for the holiday's rocking the arm warmer and sequin hat.
Summer and Laura.
Eric (now he has the sequin hat) and Laura. Lot's of laughs were had. :)

Classic Laura dancing picture. Check out the hair!
Summer...striking a pose.
Laura taking "thoughtful pictures" (this was towards the end of the night) :)
Another very thoughtful pose. :)
Cassi and Brandon...dancing the night away.

The girls all dancing...with random 80's man.
Cassi and Ashlie.
Ashlie and Eric... guitar leg.

Eric came out of dancing retirement...here he is busting a move on the dance floor. Popped collar and sequin hat.

Well as you can tell we had a great time. If you are ever in Portland on a Friday night and you are looking for a fun filled night of dancing...Lola's Room is the place.
Love, Ashlie and Eric.

Honeymoon time!

Hello All,
I know it's been a while since we blogged...but the good news is that we have some great new pictures and stories from our Honeymoon. We went to Cancun, Mexico for 10 days. It was absolutely fabulous. We did an activity every other day with relaxing in between. It averaged a balmy 85 degrees, a couple of tropical storms came through but all in all the weather was great. :) Here are some pictures of our vacation. Enjoy! (Sorry these are not in order, but you'll get the point.) :)
Eric on the plane on the way to Mexico!

This is us snorkeling in Cozumel. We went on a 5 hour private snorkel tour. We saw turtles, a huge eagle sting ray, barracuda, dolphins and of course some fish.

Playa Del Carmen. Classic Mexico, soccer on the beach.

Eric snorkeling in a Cenote. A cenote is created from the underground river system. It is the cleanest clearest fresh water.

Jungle Buggy: this is how we got to the cenote, a 15 minute drive through the jungle on this thing. :)

Spider monkey!

Eric in the cenote.

Cenote.

Ashlie holding a snake. Can you tell that I am not enjoying myself.

Eric holding a snake...enjoying himself. :)

We took the bus from Cancun to Play Del Carmen and it broke down, so here we are on the side of the road waiting for a new one.

Eric and I in Tulum. Some ruins on the sea.

Us again in Tulum.

Ashlie palm head.

Apparently even the Mayans in Chitzen Itza are USC fans.

Ashlie reading. I read 4 books while we were there. I know, total dork. :)

Ashlie relaxing at the pirate bar.

Eric holding a shark. We were at Isla Mujeres.

Eric at Chitzen Itza....just kidding, this is him in front of a sign we found.

But here is the real thing....Eric at the pyramids.

Eric and Ashlie at one of the new 7 Wonders of the World.

On the way to Isla Mujeres. We took the UltraMar over.

Waiting for our boat.

Isla Mujeres is a small island, so you can take a golf cart and see the entire island. Here is Eric driving.

There is a turtle sanctuary on the Island, so here is a turtle.

Eric and Ashlie caught in a rain storm.

One of the hotel pools at night.

Our hotel.

The view from our hotel room. There were several pools, this one had the swim up bar. :)

Eric at 7am. A beer, his sunglasses, and a hat. Just chilling.

Well there you go. The quick version of our honeymoon. In all we went to Isla Mujeres, Playa Del Carmen, Cozumel, Tulum, Chitzen Itza, snorkeling in the Cenotes, and of course Cancun. It was fantastic.
Love, Ashlie and Eric.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you had a great one, filled with laughter, good food and great company. :)
Eric and Ashlie spent Thanksgiving at Monique's house. Thanks Mo and Jared for inviting us over. Judy and Scott cooked an amazing dinner, Yvonne and Mike brought the comedic relief as well as some yummy pumpkin pie. Eirc and I were in charge of the sweet potato's and Eric even ate some! Naya and Maddie rounded out the guests at the Robert's house. Ashlie's mom and dad spent time in Montana with Grandma, Stanley, and Uncle Al. It sounds like they are staying warm (it was only 18 degrees there) and having a great time.
Here is a picture of Eric and Ashlie on Thanksgiving. Eric and Ashlie started their relationship on Thanksgiving 6 years ago. :)

Naya: I asked her if she was putting on my shoes...she coyly said no...and then came around the corner wearing my boots, smiling and talking about her shoes.

Ice Cream time: Naya, ice cream and dimples. Can't get any better than that. :)

Cheerleader Naya. Ashlie got this outfit for Naya in LA, she had a couple of outfit changes. First it was her Thanksgiving outfit, then her Snow White costume and now a USC cheerleader.

Touchdown!! Eric, Naya and Grandma Yvonne. USC scores a touchdown and beats ASU in Tempe.

Ride 'em Eric: Maddie, Naya and Uncle Eric. The girls had a ton of fun riding on Uncle Eric. Especially when he made his horse sounds and bucked like a bronco.

Maddie and her new teeth. Maddie lost 2 more teeth.

Uncle Eric and Naya. How cute...Eric and his USC girl.

Well other than spending time with family, Eric has been doing homework, we went to a Blazer game on Friday night (they won and it was actually a really fun time and thanks to Brandon for the tickets) and took a stroll around Downtown Portland. We are getting excited about out upcoming Honeymoon. We leave on December 9th...here we come sunny Mexico. :) We leave right after finals so it is a very welcome break. Well we hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

We love you all!
Love, Ashlie and Eric
