Sorry it's been so long

Hello Family and Friends! Sorry it's been so long since I have updated the blog. But it has been a very busy couple of weeks. But below you will find pictures from all of our recent adventures.

Here is a little bit of a timeline:

Ashlie was in LA for a business trip November 1-4th while Eric was in Utah with the WOU football team. Then Ashlie went to University of Oregon and Oregon State University for work November 6th & 7th. Then Ashlie went down to Corvallis to see Eric on Thursday night thru Saturday. Eric had a big party he was hosting for his Athletic Training Club on Friday night and then he was at WOU for their last football game. Which they won, 64-0, and then they are going to a bowl game! Then it was my birthday on the 11th so we spent time with some family and friends. Which brings us to today.
Eric is doing great at school, and his fundraising efforts at his party went amazingly. He is the best president ever! Well enjoy the new pictures! Love you all!

Ashlie in Santa Monica, CA. It was pretty smoggy the entire time I was there but I caught a couple of minutes of nice weather so I jumped out of my car and snapped this photo of myself. :)

While I was in LA I was fortunate enough to be able to to go see the USC Trojans take on the OSU Beavers in the LA Coliseum. The Beavers lost.
Here is the flame that they lit.

Tailgating LA style. Yes that is an Apple-tini and real silverware!

While i was in LA I also got to spend time with my BFF Cassi. Here is she and I at the game. It got really cold once the sun went down. :)

This is me at Venice Beach.

Classic LA

Me and Cassi tailgating before the game. Just plain old Corona's from a trunk. No tablecloths for us! :)

We went to the famous Pink's Hot Dogs after the game. Oh boy was it great and worth the wait. There was some great people watching! :)

This is the gift I brought home for Mike. He's got a thing for foam fingers...and well the USC Trojan Victory fingers had to make it into his collection.

Picture from the USC v OSU game.

Here is a picture of Eric at his party he had for his Athletic Training Club as Bingo master.

Eric in action at the WOU football game.

Eric holding is breath taping this guys fingers...he has the worst smelling gloves ever!!

Birthday Breakfast: Eric got up and surprised me with my favorite breakfast, flowers, and a couple of really great cards. Isn't my husband great!? :)
Family photo: Eric, Ashlie, Marge, Ed, Yvonne, Mike, Monique, and Jared. We all went to Andina a great restaurant in the Pearl and had dinner. I really recommend it! Eric is taking this picture so that's why he isn't in the picture. But there is also one other person in the picture you can't see....the Nugget...Monique is pregnant, yea! I get to be an Aunt again. :)

So that's what we have been up to lately. Future stuff...Eric and I will be going on our Honeymoon in December...so be on the look out for pictures from that in the future.
We love you all, have a great Thanksgiving. We will be at Monique and Jared's so if you are in the neighborhood give us a call. :)

UO v USC

Hello,
This weekend I was fortunate enough to be able to go see the USC Trojans play the UO Ducks in Eugene on Saturday. I went down with some friends from work. We had a great time...it was so much fun. Here are some pictures from the game.
Oh, and the Ducks won!
Storming the field after the win!
Funny story on this one...everyone stormed the field early and they had to get people off so they could finish the game. We saw this guy jump over the wall to get to the field and he crushed his foot. Literally...broke his foot. It was funny...but looked painful. ;)

Betsy's rock and roll fingers! We went to Goodtimes before the tailgating for a Bloody Mary.

We saw this shirt....so funny!

This is Mike, Betsy's husband and undefeated beer pong champion.

This is Betsy...my friend from work.

This is Nick and Joey Harrington. Nick is the Equipment Manager I work with at the UO. He's the one on crutches.

Here is Betsy and this fat guy who took his shirt off at the beginning of the game.

Well it was a great weekend. Poor Eric, he had to go with the WOU football team to Western Washington. He had to take a bus all the way up there. Yuck. But they did win. :) Eric is busy with school, he is gone again next weekend to Southern Utah. I will be in LA for a business trip. I am going to take lots of pictures so hopefully I will be able to update everyday.
Well have a great week. We love you!

Family Weekend

Hello All,
The weekend has come and gone...but here are some pictures of what we did. Oh yea, on Saturday I was the biggest dork ever and read a book cover to cover. The name of the book is Kite Runner. It was by far one of the best books I have ever read. It was amazing and highly recommend it. And Eric came home late on Saturday night...he was working a football game. So we had to cram all of our weekend adventures into one day. :)
So Liza, my cousin (hi Liza) asked to see some pictures of our place downtown. So here it is! Casa de Johnson. It is on the smaller side, but perfect for us. Since it is right downtown we can walk and go anywhere.
This is the view from the front door. (Eric is checking out his cactus, Spike, making sure he is doing ok)
Here is our kitchen
The view from the kitchen into the dining area and living room
Here is the view from our window. There is a fire pit and a BBQ right outside our patio. And then the river
Eric took these pictures...they are of the giant tanker ship that was docked across the river from our house.
The tug boats helping guide the tanker to sea.
Sternwheeler!
So we spent Sunday morning taking pictures, then we took a nice walk around the Pearl. Went to Powell's book store and had a yummy lunch. Then we headed to Monique and Jared's house to have some quality time with the family.
Eric made me wait outside so he and Naya could have some time together. This was her face when he came in the door.
Then it was time to open presents...Eric turned 30 last month, so these are some gifts from the Robert's family.
This is a picture of one of Eric's presents...depends for men! Along with this lovely and practical gift, Eric also got some gas relief and libido enhancing pills.
He also got a magnifying glass for those old eyes. But check out his big eye!
Which he shared with Naya...here she is inspecting his card. :)
Eric also got a pill box filled with candy. Some sweet and some sour. Which he shared with Naya. Well at least he shared the sour ones. Check out her bitter candy face!
Then it was time to play a little NASCAR with Naya. So here is Eric revving the engines preparing for the big start.
Uh oh...looks like Naya took the turn too sharp. Check out Eric's face...is he freaked out or what! No worries, Eric caught her before she even touched the ground. And she thought it was the best ride ever.
Eric and Naya. Yes...she finally showed some love for her Uncle Eric!
Me and Naya. Naya was eating guacamole...hence the dirty face.
Well this picture speaks for itself. She finally gave in. Totally passed out on the edge of the stair. :)
Then Eric and I headed over to my parents house for dinner. Where Dad and Eric spent some time being phone dorks. :) Sorry dad not the best picture of you. I think I caught him halfway.
Eric's yaba daba do feet. Check out how bendy they are!

Here is a picture of Elliot, my brother. Is he getting skinny (and buff) or what!
A little brotherly love. Elliot and Eric!

Here is the family cat...Chaos.
And finally my honey!

That was the weekend. Nothing too exciting but fun nonetheless. Next weekend Eric is traveling to Western Washington with Western Oregon University Football team. And then he is gone again the first weekend of November to Utah. But I will be around, holding down the fort. Well, have a great week!
Love, Ashlie and Eric
